The downloadable content was no help either, just a bunch of files - and if there is any information about how to use these files, I can't find it.

The book is also good for later versions, though you have much more functionality with indesing versions. The book is impossible to use on my ipad. However, I recently opened it on my laptop by ondesign, and it was a different book. Still not very compelling, but more useful and fairly clear.
